The half square triangle unit forms the basis of many patchwork blocks. The design possibilities for this simple block are endless and fascinating. In this workshop you will learn many different ways to piece this block, including a speedy way to stitch eight at once and how to work with bias edges. You will learn about how changing scale can add to the design and how to make half square rectangles. All the blocks you create can be sewn together to make a lapsized quilt after the workshop and lots of information will be given on how to finish your quilt. This is a machine sewing workshop and you need to bring your machine with a 1/4″ foot.
This workshop takes place from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Lunch is not included, but there is a cafe on site.
