Come and spend a day using the heritage woad plant to dye fabrics. This plant is one of the oldest ways of producing a blue dye and has been used since Neolithic times. Experience the magic when fabric comes out of the vat yellow and slowly once exposed to oxygen they turn blue. All resources for the woad vat are provided, just bring your own cotton, wool or silk fabrics and threads.
This workshop is from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Lunch is not included. Please note that the on-site cafe is closed on a Sunday.
